SIZES CHARTS
Here a reference chart for our patterns, you can calculate your size following the instructions.
There are two methods to calculate your correct size (examples in inches):
A METHOD = Measure the underbust, that will be your BAND size (if you are in between sizes choose the closest one). Once you have this measurement subtract it from your full bust size. EG: if your full bust size is 33" and your underbust is 30" the difference is 3" = C.
This means your size should be 30C.
B METHOD = Measure the underbust, that will be your BAND size (if you are in between sizes choose the closest one). Once you have this measurement if the number is even add +4, if the number is odd add +5, this will be the measure of your BAND.
Once you have this measurement subtract it from your full bust size.
EG: if your underbust is 32, your band size is 36 and your Full Bust is 38 the difference is 2"= B cup.
This means your size should be 36B (or equivalent sister sizes 34C or 32D).
Both methods are valid even if the best combination is the BCD method
that measures the distance from the apex of the breast down to the wire line directly below it.
That measurement in inches will determine your cup and frame size.
Since there are all kinds of bodies and breasts, making a custom bra requires a lot of calculations and variables.
That's why we recommend providing all measurements to create a custom bra in your unique size.
