There are collections that are born from an idea.
And then there are collections that slowly become an obsession.
In the last year we worked on what is probably the most difficult and demanding collection we ever made. A collection that brings us back to something very close to the heart of Videnoir: gothic lines, black lace, dramatic shapes and that feeling of sacred darkness that always inspired our work.
OHMYGOTH is not a simple release for us.
Every piece required a lot of tests, adjustments, changes and long days in the atelier. Some details looked easy at the beginning, but they were not. Some pieces had to be reworked many times before finding the right balance between beauty, structure and wearability.
It is a collection made of black lace, sharp silhouettes, sculptural details and pieces that feel somewhere between lingerie, ornament, armour and relics.
A return to black lace, a return to the Gothic Order, and there is still something we are not ready to reveal yet.
But the doors are almost ready to open.
The Gothic Order is coming back.
